the Tattoo

If you are visiting Canada, and are anywhere near Halifax around Canada Day, you MUST plan on going to the Tattoo. Billed as the largest variety show under one roof in North America, it takes place in an arena big enough for hockey. Originally a show put on for the Queen on a visit 30 years ago, it continues today for a week each summer. Participating bands and acts from 7 guest countries, including the US Marine band.
