Boat tour of Rocky Harbour

Rocky Harbour was a beautiful fishing village within a secure harbor of granite and sedimentary rock walls. We cruised past a cut in the stone cliff that shows 350 million years of sedimentary layers, a geologist's dream. Saw two bald eagles, a swordfish jump out of the water, two whales, beautiful storm clouds (not on top of us!) and a lighthouse. Oh, and there was a pirate on board, too. And, scroll up again to the picture with the white patch in the mountains. Yes, fans, that is SNOW.
