Another stellar day. We started off our bus tour with a drive into the country, stopping by a little lobster pond where the old pro was teaching a new employee how to clean a lobster. We all took lessons with the new guy... Next stop, Gaspereau Winery, where we sampled, and sampled, and sampled. Too bad the Canada sin tax is so high, 'cause the wine we liked best was $22/bottle, and the "cheap stuff" was $15. Plus 15% tax. No wonder we drink California wine at home... Finish off the day with a dinner cruise on the Bedford Basin and straits here at Halifax. Love the tug boat! Saw a visiting naval vessel from Norway, and a party on the deck. Hmmmm. Headed back to the wharf, with the sun setting over the harbor bridge. Tomorrow, a long day, about 250 miles, up to the port of Sydney, where we will overnite and take a 6 hour ferry ride to Newfoundland!
