Tides in the Bay of Fundy
St Andrews is just across the US - Canada border, on a peninsula poking into the Bay of Fundy. The bay gets scrubbed out twice a day with 28' tides. To get an idea of what that looks like, I've included two examples of the same location with tides in, and tides out. Check it out. Did a tour today of the Kingsbrae Gardens (www.kingsbraegarden.com) and had a lovely lunch at their cafe, walked the gardens, and sculpture garden. They stuck a little flower in the dessert. Gorgeous flowers...it's cool that this year we got to see spring in Florida, Missouri, and now in New Brunswick. Also visited the courthouse, beautifully maintained, built in 1840, and the jail house, next door, which was used until the 1970's! If that wouldn't discourage crime, don't know what would. Tomorrow, we're headed a whopping 74 miles to St John. Stay tuned!
