in the Beginning...

Wow, so we've really let this blog stagnate. But now, we're off on a new adventure, and some of your friends have asked for a way to follow our travels. So, we're resuscitating and starting things rolling again!

We have leased our home in O'Fallon to Jennifer and Ryan, who will be moving in this week and next. This frees up our housing budget for a travel budget! Today was a bit frantic, what with them moving furniture in, and us loading the RV, all at the same time. We picked up the Montaj at Byerly's RV Friday afternoon, after 3 weeks at the dealer for repairs to the slides, sink drain, and a service on the generator.
All our household goods are in storage for a year, and we leave in the morning. First, an early Birthday Dinner tonight for Jennifer, with all her family, including brother-in-law Chad. Sunday night we plan on an overnight at Wally World, then Monday night in Virginia, with dinner at Cheron and Joe Rhodes' home.
