Hit 5 states again today, two days back-to-back! Woohoo! Started in NJ, then NY, CT, RI, and MA. Camping tonite at KOA in Middleboro. Nice.
Note to self: Check route for tunnels before starting out in RV. Not allowed towing or with propane tanks in tunnels.
Second note to self: Don't go off on the wife because she can't read a map of NY/NJ and find out how to get thru all the construction to get to the George Washington Bridge. Just pull over, take a deep breath, and figure it out.
Third note to self: Next time you take a coach/car to the East Coast, sign up for an EZ Pass for the tolls first. Saves money and time.
Hey, here's a bitch: Car crossing the G.W.Bridge pay a toll of $12. Trucks (with 2 axles) start at $12. A motorhome with 2 axles, towing, costs $52. How is that fair? Towing means less space on the highway, one transaction at the booth instead of two, less fuel burnt, and more than double the cost????
Tomorrow? Trolley tour of Boston. We'll be here 3 days, probably drive to Plymouth Rock, Cape Cod, and whatever else we can come up with.
